Drawing on years of previous experience with industry leaders such as ev3, Covidien as well as emerging innovation like NeuroVasc and more than 150 Patents & Patent Applications.
Who We Are
Piezolabs Medical Inc. is a preclinical-stage medical device company headquartered in Lake Forest, CA, developing the world’s first endovascularly deliverable, biomimetic prosthetic venous valve. Founded by a multidisciplinary team with over 100 combined years of interventional device experience, the company is purpose-built to solve one of medicine’s most persistent unmet needs: the absence of any approved device to restore competence in incompetent deep-venous valves.
Our Mission
To create a durable, minimally invasive venous valve that gives patients with advanced chronic venous insufficiency a treatment path where none currently exists — restoring one-way flow, preventing reflux, healing venous ulcers and protecting against the thrombosis that has defeated earlier device attempts.
Our Vision
A future in which no patient with deep-venous valve incompetence is left with only compression socks and wound dressings as long-term management. We believe that rigorous biomimetic engineering and advanced science & technology can deliver a valve the body will accept and the vascular system will trust.
